The main focus of AFSA is to improve our quality of life as military members through influencing legislation on capital hill.  One of the key factors in becoming a member and retain the members we have is to stay up to date on what exactly is going on at the hill.  You can keep yourself and your fellow AFSA members informed by visiting www.thomas.gov.  This link will provide you with the latest information on current legislation.  You can also find contact information for your own elected state officials.  Keep yourself up to speed and don't be afraid to write your own elected state officials to let them know of your thoughts on key military bills that are put forth.
